Map Data Columns

Assign Column Headers

After uploading a CSV file, the next step is to map the columns in the uploaded data to the correct headers in STAKT. This ensures accurate data import and proper alignment of information.

  1. Review the first row of your uploaded data to determine if it is a header.

  2. If the first row is a header, ensure that you do not include it in the mapping process.

  3. Each column in the uploaded data will have a dropdown element at the top.

  4. Click the dropdown to see a list of available headers.

  5. Select the appropriate header for each column to match the data field.

Once all columns have been assigned to the correct headers, click the Next button. This initiates the review process for the uploaded records.

Map data accurately for correct reporting

For precise records, assign each CSV column appropriately when importing. Mistakes can lead to incorrect reports or data errors. Double-check your selections and consider verifying against original data for accuracy.

Confirm Data Mapping

After assigning the column headers, the next step is to review the mapped data columns carefully. This ensures that all data fields are accurately assigned for importing.

Check each column and confirm that the correct header is assigned to the relevant data by using the dropdown at the top of each column. If any header is misplaced, select the appropriate one from the dropdown.

Once you have verified that all columns are assigned accurately, click the Next button. This will bring you to the Review Uploaded Records section, where you can check for any issues with the uploaded data.
