Overview
This guide explains how to create and customize compensation plans in STAKT.
Access and manage existing comp plans
From the main dashboard, click the Comp Plans
button. This displays a table of existing plans. You can view, edit, or delete plans from this table.
Use the Search
textbox to find a specific plan. Click the Edit
button to modify a plan or the Del
button to remove it.
Create a new comp plan
Click the Add
button. Enter the name of the plan in the Comp Plan
field. You can also add notes in the Notes
field.
Click Save
to add the new compensation plan to your list.
Configure calculation types
After saving the new comp plan, click the Redlines
button. Then click the Add
button. Select the installer from the Installer
dropdown menu and choose the start date using the Start Date
picker. Select the calculation type (Redline
, Fixed
, or Percent
). Click Save
.
Configure payment settings
To configure payment settings, click the Settings
button for the relevant comp plan, then click Add
. Choose the start date for these settings using the Start Date
picker.
Define the upfront and progress payments for closers. You can choose a percentage of the commission or a per-unit amount. You can also set a maximum payout limit. Configure setter payments, choosing whether their payment is deducted from the closer's commission. Click Save
to confirm the payment structure.
Considerations
The below questions are what you should consider when creating a comp plan. The different responses to these questions will dictate how the comp plan is structured.
