Add People

Overview

Learn how to add and import people in STAKT to ensure accurate commission tracking and management. Accurate data entry is important for maintaining clarity and efficiency in handling sales commissions.

Add People

Access

Click People in the main header navigation. From here, click All People.

Once on the All People page, click theAdd button.

Enter Personal Information

From the Add page, enter the person's information.

Fill in the Full Name, ensuring it's the legal name for tracking commissions.

Optionally, enter AKA for any alternate names. Add Phone and Email for contact purposes. Set the Start Date if known. Click Save.

If you miss any required information, you'll be prompted to complete it before continuing.

Use Legal Names for Consistency

Using legal names ensures accurate commission tracking. Utilize the AKA option to assign deals using preferred or business names while maintaining record consistency.

Save and Validate Entry

After entering information, click Save. Ensure all required fields are complete. Address any validation errors prompted by the system.

Import People

Upload and Map Fields

Navigate to People and click Import People, select an Excel or CSV file.

After you upload, use the drop-down on the following page to specify whether the first row of the file you uploaded has a header or not.

Map fields such as Full Name, AKA, Phone, and Email. Make sure to review any errors that come up and correct them before proceeding.

Review and Correct Errors

After mapping, review any errors shown, such as duplicate emails or names. Correct these errors directly on the interface or re-upload the file with corrections. Errors will be displayed after the initial mapping, allowing you to identify issues like duplicate entries.

'Correct these directly in the list by editing the specific entries or fix them in your source file and re-upload. Choose the method that best fits your workflow and ensure all corrections are made accurately to avoid future discrepancies.
